parallel of intensity
i’m reading leviticus right now in my chronological reading of the bible. i’m also reading revelation for the current sermon series at my church. so i’m essentially at the beginning and the end.
and i am seeing a parallel of ‘intensity’ between God’s treatment of the israelites as He awaits them to turn back to Him and of the seals, trumpets and bowls as He awaits those who do not know Him to repent.
while critics may look at this treatment and declare God “mean” or “unjust” i am struck by just how loving and full of grace He really is.
God does not have to give is chance after chance after chance… but He does. and He readily admit it is for us to turn to Him. that’s why He does it. for us.
that is not the action nor motivation of someone “mean” or “unjust” but rather someone who cares deeply for people who are snubbing Him.
oh if i could only learn to be so kind.

I was just reading the last few chapters of Leviticus and was struck by God’s very clear warning. He told the Israelites not to forget Him and not worship foreign gods and then He tells them their EXACT punishment if they don’t. Later in Jeremiah and Daniel we see it come to pass. God isn’t cruel, He is a good father, trying to teach His stubborn children by giving rules and explaining the consequences when we break those rules. And those rules are usually for our best, whether to teach us, grow us or keep us safe. God is crazy awesome!
Gods revelation is the face of Jesus Christ
Wich is held perfectly in time in a piece of glass
knowing wich manner of man he is(themirror)
is the only way god sees you thru his eyes in you
do look in the mirror and behold what you see
the creators purpose growing up inside of his epistles .. His trees
and his kingdom in you… God bless
